Product Description

Out2Bid is a bid solicitation and project management platform that connects project owners (homeowners, property managers, facilities teams, and organizations) with local contractors and service providers. The platform enables users to create project scopes, discover and invite contractors to bid, compare bids, and manage projects from request to completion. SMS and email communications are used to deliver bid invitations, project updates, contractor responses, and platform notifications.

Who Uses Out2Bid

• Project Owners (Requesters): Individuals or organizations who create projects and solicit bids from contractors. Project owners create accounts and agree to these terms upon signup.
• Contractors (Vendors): Service providers who receive bid invitations and submit bids. Contractors do not need accounts and access the platform via secure magic links. By responding to a bid invitation, contractors agree to these terms.

SMS Terms

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by activity. Contractors typically receive 1-5 messages per project invitation. Project owners receive notifications based on their preferences (configurable in Settings).

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Other opt-out keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. You can also manage your communication preferences at your personalized unsubscribe page linked in every message.

Opt-In Consent

For Contractors: By being selected by a project owner to receive a bid invitation, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to that specific project. This includes the initial invitation, responses to your questions, project updates, and bid status notifications. Consent is limited to project-related communications. No marketing messages are sent.

For Project Owners: By creating an account and providing your phone number in your profile settings, you consent to receive SMS notifications about your projects based on your notification preferences. You can configure which notifications you receive in Settings.

Supported Carriers

Service is available on most major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and US Cellular. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Platform Terms

Account Registration

Project owners must create an account to use Out2Bid. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Bid Process

Out2Bid facilitates the bid solicitation process but does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or performance of any contractor. Out2Bid does not employ, endorse, or guarantee any contractor or service provider found through the platform. Project owners are responsible for verifying contractor qualifications, insurance, licensing, and references independently.

Content

Users are responsible for the accuracy of project descriptions, bid submissions, and all content posted through the platform. Out2Bid uses AI-assisted tools to help draft project scopes, but users are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is shared with contractors.

Contractor Discovery

Contractors shown in discovery results are sourced from publicly available business listings (including Google Places) and self-registered vendor profiles. Listings are not vetted, endorsed, or compensated by Out2Bid. Ratings shown may include Google ratings and Out2Bid user ratings.

Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, and technology are owned by Burnett Management, Inc. User-generated content (project descriptions, bids, messages) remains the property of the user who created it, with a license granted to Out2Bid to display and process it within the platform.

Limitation of Liability

Out2Bid is a communication and bid management platform. We are not a party to any agreement between project owners and contractors. We are not liable for disputes, property damage, financial loss, or any claims arising from work performed by contractors found through the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

Billing

Paid features are billed through Stripe. Subscription terms, cancellation policies, and refund terms are governed by the plan selected at checkout. See the Billing page in your account for current plan details.
